Erika Lizette Arcos

Erika is a 24-year-old published author currently living in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico with her husband, daughter, and a few gorgeous “grumpy-faced” cats. She is the What’s Your Story – Author Services Marketing publishing assistant and has been with the company for almost two years. She has an expert eye for design and book covers.

Erika’s early years were spent in Monroe, North Carolina, USA. It was not until she was twelve that she realized she was an undocumented, illegal “alien” in the US. On the same day, she learned of the harrowing journey her parents took to provide her and her siblings with a so-called better life. All this is the subject of her upcoming memoir about growing up in the terrifying shadows of the American Dream (expected release: Winter 2023).

Erika loves her budding publishing career and enjoys spending time with her family at home cooking traditional Mexican food while watching plenty of Korean K-Drama series on Netflix.
